To perform title and escrow services we collect non-public personal information from you and from the parties to your transaction, including information from applications and forms, from your transactions with us and others, and from public records including deeds, liens and tax records.
How we use it
We use this information to search and examine title, issue policies, administer escrow, and meet legal, regulatory and underwriting requirements. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to complete your transaction or as permitted by law — with title underwriters, lenders, real estate agents, county recorders, and service providers acting on our behalf, each of whom is expected to protect it.
How we protect it
We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, and we limit access to employees who need the information to do their jobs.
Your choices
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Records relating to a title or escrow file are subject to retention requirements we cannot waive, so some information cannot be deleted on request. Contact us and we will tell you what applies to your file.
